A-ONE was registered in 1975 and commenced business the same year. It was registered as an engineering construction, Installation, Upgrade of Onshore/Offshore production Facilities Company. In 2006 the company lost its managing director which made it impossible to operate for some years. 1n 2011, the company changed her management and entered partnership agreement with some company and carried out several projects under sublet. Its line of business spans through:

OUR CAPABILITIES
A-ONE has a wide range of experience in the welding of carbon steel, stainless steel and alloys. We possess both modern and traditional technologies in the areas of fabrication and installation of carbon steel and low temperature process piping, plates, stainless steel and low alloys steels.
We have fabrication shops with a combined total area of about 3,000m2 equipped with a wide range of welding machines and equipment for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Brazing, Carbon Arc Cutting and Gouging processes, amongst others.
A-ONE has successfully executed installation works for critical process equipment in Gas Gathering and Gas Compression Plants (including commissioning), Booster and Crude Oil Export Pumps, Process Vessels, Silos and Process Piping. We have resources to undertake installation activities in Land, Swamp and Offshore locations and we are able to install heavy-duty equipment using laser alignment tools.
Our crop of specialists (Nigerians and Expatriates) are experienced and available at short notice to work both in Nigeria and abroad.
Our experience in civil works range from foundation engineering for swamp and river platforms, Concrete and Steel Jetties, Concrete foundations for plant machinery, Crude oil storage tanks, Process equipment such as scrubbers, pipe racks, separators and skimmer vessels to the construction of earth and concrete bundwalls for crude oil tank farms and flare areas in flow stations.
In the area of buildings, we have provided project management and construction resources for the renovation of commercial offices, warehouse/fabrication shop erection, guard huts for oil and gas facilities in rough terrains such as swampy areas.
A-ONE has successfully carried to completion a number of electrical projects ranging from installation of gas fired generators, electric pumps, motors and lighting systems in oil and gas facilities. Our engineers and technicians have also been involved in the installation of electrical wiring, control panels and switches for cement plants and commercial buildings.
We have also developed our instrumentation (both pneumatics and electronics) capabilities to very high standards. Our mobile instrument calibration shop is equipped with modern pneumatic and electronic calibration equipment and can be deployed to remote sites at very short notice. The E & I department is headed by an experienced engineer whose experience span power plants, oil and gas facilities etc.
The Community Affairs, Health and Safety(CASHES) aspects of the Company’s operation is accorded special attention and is fully headed by a competent and qualified HSE & CA Manager.
A-ONE has always fulfilled its obligations to host communities where our projects are sited and to date we have never abandoned any project due to community problem. Also, by the end of 2013, A-ONE attained a safety record of 1,127,239 Hrs (six Years Operation) without any lost time injury. Health incidents for the same period stood at 1, Environment incidents 0 and security incidents 0
A-ONE has gained considerable experience in project management over the years. We have been able to deliver the objectives of the various completed projects within time, cost and at the desired performance/technology level while utilizing the assigned resources effectively and efficiently. We have successfully provided project management expertise for many projects spanning, oil and gas development, civil works and electrical installations. Specifically, we provided construction management services for the upgrade of flow stations (environmental and safety upgrade) for SHELL at Awoba f/s , Nembe II, Diebu creek , Oloma f/s etc all in swamp. Similarly in land obigbo f/s, Agbada I & II, Adibawa f/s, Kolocreek f/s , Gbaran civil/ Electrical maintainance etc under Patoski International Services Limited. Similar projects have been delivered for Geson Investment limited, Visca Engineering limited, Nenco and Saipen-spiking Project at Soku Gas plant.
A-ONE has a range of mechanized pneumatic cold cutting tools, flushing and mobile Nitrogen inserting facilities for safe working in gaseous/oily pipe work.
A-ONE has acquired a number of quality control tools and equipment over the years. All control tools are owned and operated by us, except where Third Party inspection is required by client. We maintain special relationships with Messrs SGS Inspection Services Ltd and Oilfield Inspection Services Ltd for Third Party Inspection and Quality Control services.
A-ONE attach special importance to Total Quality Management [TQM] and believe that quality is “good business”. Our Quality Management System [QMS] is in line with NIS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard. Also, Quality System Procedures for each of our operation have been established. Our Quality System personnel have also been seconded to NIS:ISO courses externally and internally. Further, A-ONE retains the services of a Quality System Consultant.
A-ONE is further determined to make all its operations incidents free and environmentally and host community friendly. Prior to commencement of any new project, a CASHES Plan is developed and established, approved by management and CASHES resources allocated accordingly. Further more, all workers nominated for projects are inducted and trained to work safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
